Midwife Anneli Kruus
I was born and grew up in Viljandi. In my last year of high school, I decided that I would become a midwife. To me, this profession held a certain sense of magic and mystery. Today, I must admit that it was the best decision of my life and I haven't regretted it for a second.
I studied at Tallinn Medical School over the period of 1992–1995. From 1998, I work as a midwife in East Tallinn Central Hospital. 2004. In 2004, I finished a formal education programme for midwives at Tallinn Health Care College and over the period of 2007–2010 I attended a master’s programme at Tallinn University.
I have two kids, who have taught me a lot. Thanks to my children, I have taken a more serious interest in alternative medicine and I am definitely planning to receive additional training in this area.
