Midwife Annely Kärema
I graduated from Tallinn Health Care College in 1991. Since then, I have been working as a midwife in East Tallinn Central Hospital. My work includes pregnancy observation and postnatal counselling. In the delivery room, I come to the aid of pregnant women as a midwife. As a midwife, I want to be at the mother’s side during the miraculous experience of childbirth. I always prefer to be guided by the principles of a natural birth.
I have received additional training in various foreign countries, more specifically about the course of a physiological birth, providing guidance during a water birth and the reasons of potential risk factors. I am a strong believer in a woman’s natural ability to give birth – she just needs to follow her instincts and draw on her inherent strength!
See you in our department of obstetrics or counselling clinic for mothers!
