All post-birth family rooms offered free of charge at East-Tallinn Central Hospital Women’s Clinic, starting from 10th of July.

“Our clinic is planning to update and refresh the family rooms and mother-baby rooms used in post-birth recovery. During the construction period all rooms are free of charge,” noted the Head of the Clinic, Lee Tammemäe. “Our wish is to make women and families to feel as comfortable as possible. When the renewal of 5th floor of the Labor and Birth Department will be finished, the conditions for post-birth recovery will become even better than now. During the construction period additional temporary post-birth rooms will be opened on 1st and 2nd floor”, she added.

Post-birthing suites

East-Tallinn Central Hospital is offering professional birthing aid to all women, no matter their habitance. 1855 babies, including 32 pairs of twins were born at our hospital during the period of first six months in 2013.

East-Tallinn Central Hospital is the oldest birthing hospital in Estonia. Quarter of all babies in Estonia are born here. Our hospital is qualified as UNICEF Baby-friendly hospital from year 2008.
