More boys born in maternity clinic of East-Tallinn Central Hospital

The statistics of East-Tallinn Central Hospital indicate that 42 more boys were born in its maternity clinic in the first five months of this year than last year.

1564 babies had been born in East-Tallinn Central Hospital by the beginning of June, which is four more than in the first five months of last year.

The number of grooms among the new-borns was 836 – 42 more than had been born by the beginning of June 2013.
However, there is a shortage of brides: 728 girls were born in this period, which is 38 fewer than last year.

Twenty-four couples had the joy of welcoming twins into the world in the first five months of the year
