Occupational Therapist

Occupational therapist is responsible for:

  • Operational capacity assessment - assessment of the individual's independent operational capacity and the need for personal assistance.
  • Planning of environmental adaptations to facilitate personal livelihood, provision of assistance and care.
  • Instructing care staff, supervisors and people close to the patient about his or her ability to work, the need for personal assistance and ways of providing it.
  • Activation and support for general orientation - implementation of therapies that enhance the sense of security and support in the real living environment.
  • Supporting communication skills and self-esteem - Applying therapies that can help to recognize good and disapprove inappropriate behaviors.
