Temporary ban on visiting patients at East Tallinn Central Hospital from 23 January due to flu virus

22. January 2016

East Tallinn Central Hospital asks people not to visit patients undergoing hospital treatment at present.

Due to the prevalence of influenza and upper respiratory tract viral infections, the hospital asks that as of tomorrow, 23 January 2016, people refrain from visiting patients undergoing treatment.

This temporary ban on visits applies to all of the units in the hospital.

Anyone wishing to bring something in for patients may do so, but items should be left with the attendant at the cloakroom, from which they will be collected and delivered to patients. Please make sure that the items you bring in are marked with the name of the patient and the department they are in.
