Skin prick tests

Skin prick tests are used to identify the causal allergen.

To perform the test, a drop of the allergen solution will be placed on the skin of the forearm or back, and a special lancet will be used to do a gentle prick through the drop. The result of the test will be evaluated after 15 minutes have passed.
