Obtaining spermatozoa from testicles or epididymis by biopsy

Obtaining spermatozoa from testicles or epididymis by biopsy (TESE, MESA) – used for extremely severe sperm pathology.

If there are no spermatozoa in the seminal fluid, we will try to find them in epididymides or testicular tissue. The procedure is preformed under anaesthesia. The obtained spermatozoa are used for the fertilisation of egg cells by the ICSI method.
