Annual Vascular Workshop 2019

On behalf of the organizing committee we are pleased to invite you to the “Annual Vascular Workshop“on September 18-19, 2019, in East Tallinn Central Hospital, Tallinn, Estonia. The course consists of 2 practical days of learning and training.

We are simultaneously planning presentations, discussions and live case transmissions from cathlabs of East Tallinn Central Hospital and Maria Cecilia Hospital Cotignola, Italy.

The aim of the 1st day of the workshop is to give update into the role of vessel preparation (Rotarex thrombectomy, scoring devices, lithoplasty) in endovascular treatment of peripheral artery disease, advanced endovascular treatment of CLI and diabetic foot, pharmacomechanical Thrombectomy of DVT.

The 2nd day is focusing on embolization: venous embolization of pelvic congestion syndrome, varicocele and prostata embolization. A limited number of participants can observe the procedures in the cathlab. The access to the cathlab is ensured on a “first come-first served” basis.

In the evening of September 18, you are welcome to join the gala dinner in Seaplane Harbour (Meremuuseum), Vesilennuki 6. The evening starts at 19:30 with a tour in the Museum and continues with a delicious dinner with an exclusive concert held by one of the best jazz artists Joel Remmel band with the legendary saxophone player Raivo Tafenau and a promising, already award winning Marianne Leibur. You are welcome to join us, enjoy the good time and dance the night away!

Accommodation

During the workshop you are welcome to stay at the nearby Ibis Tallinn Central Hotel (Juhkentali str  28).

It is a newly opened modern and fresh Scandinavian style 3-star hotel with great noise isolation and comfortable beds. The hotel is conveniently located just about within 3 minutes of walking distance form the hospital. For accomodation please contact HA9N7-RE@accor.com and provide a code name “vascular workshop” to book your stay. The hotel also has an underground parking area which will be charged extra in case of parking is needed. Please note that the booking with special prices is available until August 18, 2019.
