Transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP)

Transurethral resection of the prostate (TURP) is one of the most common minimally invasive surgical treatment methods, in which a special camera-equipped instrument – a resectoscope – is advanced to the prostate and used to remove the part of the prostatic tissue which causes difficulties with urination. Thanks to the TURP operation, urination shall recover or the urination pressure shall improve.
