Inpatient Rehabilitation Centre

The Inpatient Rehabilitation Centre provides rehabilitative care with 24-hour surveillance in hospital wards. I Rehabilitative Care Department specialises in neurological rehabilitation and the II Rehabilitative Care Department in cardiac rehabilitation, skeletal and joint problems and recovery after surgery or an injury.

In the absence of a referral letter we offer a paid rehabilitation service - paid rehabilitative care in a hospital is suitable for you if you require inpatient rehabilitative care in our clinic’s I or II rehabilitative care department, but you lack the necessary referral letter, health insurance fund’s insurance or if you need the treatment for a longer period of time than the health insurance fund provides.

During your stay in rehabilitation care, it is possible to perform additional examinations and to consult with specialists. The duration of the rehabilitation care depends on the patient’s diagnosis and indications.

In the I rehabilitative care department, we provide inpatient neurological rehabilitative care.

Inpatient rehabilitative care is indicated for patients in a stable overall condition, who as a result of a moderate or severe functional disability need complex multidisciplinary rehabilitative care, but also for patients with a neurological deficit, who are able to learn (in order to participate in the process of rehabilitative care), motivated and able to bear 3 hours of physical exercise.

Treatment options in the I rehabilitative care department

  • intensive rehabilitative care for patients with acute neurological complications,
  • aftercare for prospective patients, who have undergone a severe condition, to start the following rehabilitative care,
  • a function-supporting 10-day rehabilitative care from the 6th month after an acute illness,
  • paid rehabilitative care as an additional option.

The II rehabilitative care department specialises in cardiac, different skeletal and joint problems and postoperative and post-trauma patients.

We expect patients who are in a stable condition, able to learn, are motivated and able to tolerate physical exercise to rehabilitative care. The goal of rehabilitative care is to restore the patient’s quality of life, to lead them back to everyday life and to reduce the disability and complications.

Treatment options in the II Rehabilitative Care Department:

  • intensive rehabilitative care of cardiac patients,
  • intensive rehabilitative care post spine surgery,
  • intensive post-trauma rehabilitative care,
  • intensive post-operative rehabilitative care of patients with an orthopaedic joint implant,
  • intensive rehabilitative care of rheumatological diseases,
  • aftercare for prospective patients, who have undergone a severe condition, to start the following rehabilitative care,
  • a function-supporting 10-day rehabilitative care from the 6th month after an acute illness,
  • paid rehabilitative care as an additional option.
