Creatinine (Crea) is the final product of muscular tissue metabolism which is excreted through kidneys.

Blood creatinine level indicates the kidneys’ ability to excrete waste products and is directly related to kidney function and the person’s muscle mass and physical activity. You should avoid intensive physical exercise 24 h before the blood test.
