Welcome to

the Eye Surgery Centre!

Patients of all ages are welcome at our clinic. We offer a wide range of ophthalmic surgical services, ranging from eyelid and corneal surgeries to complex glaucoma and retinal surgeries.

We also treat tear duct diseases, strabismus and children’s eye problems. In addition, we provide state-of-the-art treatment for ocular oncology patients.

We perform minor procedures and surgeries in the day surgery department, so you don’t have to stay in hospital overnight and can go home the same day. For patients requiring longer treatment or more complex surgeries, we offer care and support in our inpatient department.

We work in a patient-friendly and compassionate manner, using the latest technology and effective treatment methods.

We specialise in the treatment of complex eye diseases, so a referral from your family doctor or specialist is required. You can search for appointments without a referral in the Health Portal.

Emergency ophthalmologist appointment

Additional information
From infancy onwards, acute eye diseases can be treated at the Emergency Medical Centre (EMC) at Ravi 18, C-block, Mon-Fri 08:00-20:00 and Sat-Sun 09:00-20:00. At other times, the EMC doctor will provide emergency care.

All procedures carry risks, but our team ensures maximum safety and provides clear instructions to avoid complications.

Does the Estonian Health Insurance Fund cover the cost of the surgery?
Several procedures are financed by the Estonian Health Insurance Fund. Detailed information will be provided during the consultation.
