Training and internship
Welcome to the internship programme at East-Tallinn Central Hospital
Our hospital wishes to play its part in training our future colleagues: resident physicians, nurses, midwives and other healthcare workers who serve as a basis for students and interns.
Our hospital offers all of the essential conditions for both the provision of education and research in fields that are necessary to complete medical internships and graduate from a healthcare college or medical school. We hope that your internship will give a better idea of the possibilities for the development of the healthcare sector and your own future profession.
Over the decades, internships have been completed at our hospital in a wide variety of professions and specialities: doctors, nurses, midwives, physical therapists, dispensing chemists, pharmacists, occupational therapists, optometrists, bioanalysts, radiology technicians, massage therapists, speech therapists, social workers, nursing care providers and many others.

Applying for an internship
When you write to us, specify exactly what type of internship you are seeking at our hospital:
- your current school and speciality
- the type of internship you desire, and the goals for the internship
- when and how long you are seeking the internship for
We will look at our options and get back to you, providing instructions for the next steps.
East-Tallinn Central Hospital is unable to offer housing for interns. You will have to independently find a place to live for the duration of the internship.
