Renovation of Postpartum Ward to Be Completed by Early Summer
The renovation of the women's clinic’s second-floor ward wing, which began in February, has reached its final phase. The work is scheduled to be completed around Midsummer’s Day.

2,793 Babies Born at East Tallinn Central Hospital Last Year
In 2024, 2,793 children were born in the maternity ward of East Tallinn Central Hospital, 1,361 of whom were girls and 1,432 of whom were boys. The number of twins born was 52, which means that a total of 2,741 births were registered.
Christmas cheer: High-tech simulation mannequin to help our smallest patients
A high-tech simulation mannequin was introduced at the East Tallinn Central Hospital training centre to support neonatal stabilisation and resuscitation training. The mannequin can be used to practice vital skills to provide the best care for young patients.
