Minister Karmen Joller visited East Tallinn Central Hospital

On 13 August, Minister of Social Affairs Karmen Joller visited East Tallinn Central Hospital to discuss the future direction of Estonia’s healthcare system — including hospital network development, the organisation of healthcare services, and the renewal of Tallinn's hospital infrastructure.

A delegation from the Republic of Korea visited East Tallinn Central Hospital

On 12 August, East Tallinn Central Hospital hosted a delegation from Gangwon Province, South Korea, which included representatives from Kangwon National University Hospital, technology companies Geomex and Mezoo, as well as Gangwon Science Park and the provincial government. In total, around 15 people took part in the visit. The visit was part of the Estonia–South Korea cooperation programme aimed at promoting economic development, research and innovation, and strengthening ties between hospitals in Gangwon Province and Estonia.

Breastfeeding picnic at ITK invites families to learn and connect

On August 5, a breastfeeding picnic will take place in the green area of Ida-Tallinna Central Hospital’s Ravi Street unit as part of World Breastfeeding Week (August 1–7). The event brings together families to share experiences and learn about the health benefits of breastfeeding.
