East Tallinn Central Hospital Opened a Breast Health Centre

During its 12 years of operation, over 60,000 people have visited the Breast Health Office of East Tallinn Central Hospital, and the interest of patients towards the service is strong. Increased attention to breast diseases requires the medical system to be ready to provide high-quality service to patients with breast problems, and East Tallinn Central Hospital has now created a special Breast Health Centre for this purpose.

New Ultrasound Machine Considerably Quickens the Diagnostics for Newborns

“In neonatal intensive care, the diagnoses may change rapidly. There are many reasons for that, and therefore, the speed of initial stabilisation and treatment depend on quick diagnostics, which may save lives,” said Dr. Pille Andresson, the Head of the East Tallinn Central Hospital neonatology department, adding that they have been dreaming of the ultrasound machine for a long time.
