Starting from 28 February, patients visiting East Tallinn Central Hospital Magdaleena Outpatient Clinic will be welcomed in a temporary modular campus (Y block). The building is located in the courtyard of the hospital building. The entrance for patients is on Magdaleena Street. There will be no changes to patients’ appointment times and the outpatient clinic will be open at the usual times.

Reception can be found on the first floor of the two-storey modular building and doctors’ appointment rooms with waiting areas are located on both floors. The modular campus is connected to Magdaleena Outpatient Clinic by a corridor.

“We have made all the arrangements to ensure that appointments can continue without interruptions and we have notified patients of the new location for their appointments. I hope that the renovated clinic due to open next year will make all of these temporary inconveniences worthwhile,” explains East Tallinn Central Hospital Head of Customer Service Lea Karik.

Patients of the Centre of Oncology and Centre of Ear, Nose and Throat Diseases can come for their appointment through the door for A block on Pärnu Road.

The hospital will use the temporary building for patient appointments until the completion of the renovation of Magdaleena Unit’s D block in spring 2023. After that, the modular campus will be dismantled and the courtyard’s landscaping restored.

The current entrance to the outpatient clinic will be closed on 11 March. Entrance to the Wellness Centre will also change on the same date. The centre can thereafter be accessed through the door to the right of the current entrance to the outpatient clinic. General practitioners operating in the outpatient clinic will start seeing patients in the new modular campus from 11 March.

An average of 2500 patients visit East Tallinn Central Hospital every day, 800 of those go to Magdaleena Outpatient Clinic.
