Stoma nurse's appointment

Before and after surgery patients, who have intestinal stoma (colostomy, ileostomy), and their loved ones, are welcome at the appointment of a stoma nurse.

At the stoma nurse's appointment we will:

• introduce the general principles of stoma care and compile an individual patient education plan if the patient has been prescribed for scheduled treatment for stoma creation;
• teach different postoperative activities, give practical recommendations for coping postoperative;

advise in case of possible problems, including urological-surgical patients who have had a stoma created during the surgery.
