Wound care nurse's appointment

The wound care nurse provides consultations for patients who require wound management (surgical wounds, various ulcers).

At the wound care nurse appointment:

• we assess and treat surgical and traumatic wounds;
• we provide guidance on wound care and home hygiene;
• we recommend appropriate dressings and wound care products and teach patients how to use them.

A referral from the treating physician is required.
