Zenker's diverticulectomy

Zenker’s diverticulum is a diverticulum at the upper gastrointestinal tract which causes difficulty in swallowing; in the most extreme cases, eating is not possible at all.

This can be endoscopically treated (diverticulectomy) and after a successful procedure, the patient is able to eat normally again.
