Spinal surgery nurse's appointment

The nurse specializing in spinal surgery counsels patients at the center before and, if necessary, after the operation. 

• Assessment of overall health status, including clarification of daily medication intake and identification of concomitant diseases
•  Issuance of referrals for analyses and examinations
• Counseling on preparation for surgery and the post-operative period
• Assessment of wound condition and wound care, including removal of sutures if necessary

Patients are referred to the nurse specializing in spinal surgery by our hospital's spinal surgeon for consultation.
