Eye Prostheses
Eye Prostheses
An eye prosthesis is an artificial eye that replaces a missing eye or covers a deformed eyeball. It is made to resemble the healthy eye as closely as possible. The prosthesis is worn continuously and removed only for cleaning.
Eye prostheses can be:
- standard prostheses — selected from existing models,
- custom-made prostheses — crafted to fit the patient’s eye socket.
