Kidney tissue damage examination

This examination helps to detect the extent of kidney tissue damage during and after acute pyelonephritis.

The examination includes intravenously injecting a substance marked with radioactive technetium (99mTc) which will accumulate in the kidney tissue.

You can come to the examination only with a specialist’s referral.
