Counselling by social worker

A family school lecture gives a good overview of the benefits involved with childbirth and their conditions. If needed, at social worker can consult you via telephone.

During pregnancy and by staying at home with the baby the family can expect big changes. You can receive multiple single and regular benefits from the state or from the local government. On the other hand, future parents can expect a myriad of compulsory procedures, such as registering the birth, notifying the family doctor, applying for benefits etc.

A social worker at the East Tallinn Central Hospital counsels expecting families. A good overview of the conditions and benefits can be obtained at the family school lecture “Legislation and the woman’s rights”
